Strategic Expansion: Ventures Into Property Development to Maximize Land Assets
Sidoarjo (12/9) – PT Integra Indocabinet Tbk (WOOD IJ), Indonesia’s largest vertically integrated wooden products manufacturer, proudly announces its strategic expansion into the property sector, diversifying its business portfolio. In collaboration with PT Ciputra Cipta Cemerlang, an indirect subsidiary of PT Ciputra Development Tbk, WOOD will develop a green-concept clustered housing project.
This joint venture will focus on the development of approximately 1,600 residential, commercial, and mixed-use units on a 30-hectare land owned by WOOD in Sidoarjo, East Java. This strategic location is well-positioned to meet the growing market demand in the area. The project aims to address the need for well-designed, high-quality housing while simultaneously enhancing the productivity of WOOD’s assets.
By leveraging each party’s expertise—WOOD’s global-standard production of furniture and building components, and CTRA’s proven track record in developing innovative and iconic properties—this partnership will create a modern, eco-friendly, and high-value residential environment.
This initiative is expected to provide an additional revenue stream for WOOD and support its growth over the next five years.
